When we talk about retooling for the future, we often center this discussion on an

industry that has become obsolete, therefore its workers have become obsolete. Another
way of looking at retooling is that workers continually keep up with the latest trends
and training by retooling; therefore they stay current or ahead of the curve.

Although fundamentally the same, our workplaces are constantly changing.
Technology continually moves the boundaries and changes our jobs whether we want
to or not. We are either staying ahead of the curve, or we are becoming obsolete. In
