With their new HEIL 22 cubic yard Liberty automated collection body on a new Mack LEU single-axle chassis,
the city spends 14 man-hours per week with one operator instead of 90 man-hours per week with three operators
collecting solid waste. The purchase of a Ford F450 service truck with a Reading Crane Master body, a Liftmoore
crane, a VMAC underhood air compressor and a power inverter made working on pumping stations much safer for
the operators. Previously the job required a truck, a backhoe and a trailer. In addition the city modified the old
retired rear loader and purchased a TARCO Windy 100 leaf machine to start a leaf collection program.
