Vild gave a brief presentation on one of his most
useful products, Stormzorb Absorbent, which has
become a very reliable resource for Metro Nashville
Public Works in regard to spill cleanups. This is a bio-
degradable product that is used on smaller roadway
spills that is made with a high quality blend of miner-
als designed for superior performance. Eric Lopez
with Vaga Sales, showed the members and guests new
personal protective equipment which included hi-vis
rain suits, collapsible traffic cones, and a new impen-
etrable light weight work boot commonly used in the
utility industry. During the presentations, the mem-
bers and guests enjoyed a terrific southern lunch,
provided by Monel’s catering, a Nashville favorite.

Attendees were encouraged to bring a canned food
item to help fight hunger in Middle Tennessee. As a
result of the donations made by members and guests
in attendance, the branch was able to provide over
116 lbs. of non-perishable food to Second Harvest
Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. As the meeting
came to a close, members and guests were able to
enjoy some quality networking time, and a chance
to admire the Nashville Skyline from the view of the
historic Bridge Building. The Middle Branch would
like to thank Vild with Advanced Safety and Indus-
trial Supply and Lopez with Vaga Sales for sponsoring
this meeting.
