TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS By Rocky Robinson
Middle Branch Meets in Old Hickory
Compliance with OSHA
Silica Dust Standards
The Middle Branch hosted a luncheon
in Old Hickory at the Hermitage Golf
Course in support of the new OSHA Silica
Dust Standard. The meeting started with a
networking opportunity for the more than
50 members and guests who were able
to attend the luncheon. Middle Branch
Manager Cody Osborne kicked off the
meeting by welcoming and thanking all
of the members and guests for attending.
Osborne recapped the upcoming National
Events, such as PWX, and upcoming local
chapter events and opportunities such as
the TCAPWA/SWANA Conference in
November and future classes provided to
Public Works professionals by the Tennes-
see Public Works Institute.
The meeting hosted members and
guests from all over the mid-state,
including Lebanon, Hendersonville,
Goodlettsville, and Murfreesboro. Os-
borne turned the meeting over to Young
Professional member, JD Lane to inspire
