TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS

West Branch Visits Fisher Arnold Engineering ByJohnFox

TCAPWA’s West Branch held its quarterly
meeting on July 27 at the Fisher Arnold Engineer-
ing office located in Memphis. In cooperation
with the Corps of Engineers Memphis District,
West Tennessee River Basin Authority and Fisher
Arnold Engineering Integration, the TCAPWA
branch meeting was a great success with over 30
members and guests in attendance at the meeting.
TCAPWA officers and past officers in attendance
included Past TCAPWA Presidents Bill Kilp and
Bill Yearwood.

Prior to the start of the meeting, Jeff Old, Civil/
Sanitary Department Head for Fisher Arnold,
took time to welcome attendees to the facility and
briefly talked about Fisher Arnold and its activi-
ties as one of the leading engineering, architec-
ture, and consulting firms in the United States.

West Branch Director John Fox talked about
news and activities taking place in the American
Public Works Association and several upcom-
ing TCAPWA activities including the Tennessee
Public Works Institute courses and TCAPWA/
SWANA Conference scheduled for November 7
to 9 in Knoxville.

The first speaker for this quarter’s meeting was
