Middle Branch Meets in Nashville
The Middle Branch luncheon hosted by
the City of Nashville was held on August
2, at the Metro Nashville Public Works
Special Operations facility in Nashville. The truck manufacturer when
luncheon was attended by members and
guests from surrounding areas throughout
Middle Tennessee. The meeting started
with announcements from Middle Branch
Manager Cody Osborne. Cody, detailed the
upcoming TCAPWA/SWANA Conference
in Nashville, scheduled for October 21-23,
2018.
As the announcements were concluded,
the members and guest were treated to
a Whitt’s barbecue luncheon with all of
the fixin’s. As lunch was served, Autocar

Craig Teune and Regional Business
Manager Tyler Ohlmansiek took the floor
with an expansive outlook on Autocar’s
custom-built chassis program. The

duty refuse chassis, and the
many benefits of using the
overhauling your fleet. One
of the many benefits, and
probably the most important
feature is the safety of the
Autocar chassis and its stainless
steel custom-built frame as
opposed to other competitors
in the industry. Every Autocar
truck is engineered to meet the
direct needs of the customer, while keeping
in mind the manufacturer’s focus on safety,
with such features as increased turning
radius, superior visibility, more durable
cabs, and industry-leading, around-the-
clock customer service.
It was a very informative lunch-and-
learn session, highlighting some of the
more important topics from one of the

leaders in the refuse truck industry.
The Middle Branch would like to thank

The Lower East Branch met on
Tuesday, July 24 at the Chattanooga
Lookouts stadium to watch the
home team play the Pensacola
Blue Wahoos. The evening was
sponsored by BAR Environmental.
Twelve attendees, including Eric
Sines, Collegedale Public Works
Director and Lower East Branch
Director, and Justin Holland,
Chattanooga Administrator of
Public Works and TCAPWA Vice
President, enjoyed the evening of
networking and baseball.
